Rockhampton Basketball are excited to announce the arrival of Interim General Manager Ryan Burns filling the soon to be vacant position, with current General Manager Mathew Neason finishing his contract at the end of the week.

Ryan will take on a 3 Month contract to provide the necessary leadership whilst the Association progresses through a comprehensive recruitment process to source a suitable candidate to take on the role in a permanent capacity.

Shanavia Dowdell Bounces Back For Another Championship Run

They don’t come much bigger than this. Shanavia ‘Bean’ Dowdell has confirmed her return for the Frenchville Sports Club Ltd Cyclones. There was major interest from other clubs to try and snare the best Import in the league, but the decision was an easy one for Dowdell. The McDonalds Rockhampton Rockets are pleased to announce the signing of American import Jordan Gregory for the upcoming 2016 season.

Jordan is a shooting guard who played collegiately at Montana University, where he played 4 years of Div 1 College basketball. He was selected First Team All Big Sky Conference and was also recognized for his outstanding post-season play with All-Tournament First Team selection.   Jordan was co-captain on a team that played in 3 Conference championship games over his 4 years.
